A slow day on Vietnam's largest coastal lagoon. You cross Thi Nai on a wooden boat, paddle a coracle through the mangrove creeks at Con Chim, cast nets with the fishermen who work them daily, and stay for the storks coming in at dusk. Overview: Experience an unforgettable day immersed in the natural scenery and warm hospitality of the region. Enjoy a relaxing, slow-paced boat ride as you discover the traditional fishing trade. On this tour, you will cruise through scenic waterways, visit an ancient monastery, explore local shrimp, fish, and crab ponds, and interact with the humble locals. A special highlight is watching flocks of birds returning to their nests. You will also learn how to make traditional savory pancakes (Bánh Xèo) and rice paper, giving you a profound appreciation for the rustic, hardworking lifestyle of the locals.
